These adapers allow Video, Web and Astro cameras to be connected to various lenses, telescopes, microscopes and other imaging systems. C-mount video cameras (Stellacam, Mintron), Meade DSI imagers, CCD cameras (SBIG, Starlight Xpress, Atik, SAC, etc), and Webcams can be connected to telescopes, microscopes or to DSLR or SLR camera lenses (Canon EOS FD, Nikon F, Pentax K, Olymous OM). The SLR/DLSR lens adapters have a 1/4-20 mounting point for tripods. These adapters are made by Steven Mogg, and have an excellent, worldwide, reputation. The adapters are machined in a material known as Delrin (TM), a very hard engineering thermoplastic metal substitute. Delrin is lightweight, low-friction, and wear-resistant with good physical and processing properties and capable of operating in temperatures in excess of 200 degrees fahrenheit. 80% of adapters can be supplied from current UK stock.
